Football Josep Colomer, the Recruitment Coach for Aspire, told hotsportslive.com that the Academy is presently exploring the logistics of registration, stressing that on its take-off, talented teenage Nigerian kids will benefit immensely. “We are in Nigeria in continuation of our football dreams project, the biggest football project in the world .We will test half a million teenage players in 7 countries in Africa and Nigeria is one of these countries in CAF region”, said Colomer, who previously worked with top Spanish side, Barcelona. “This project is a pre-project for all the players born in 1994 and we are going to test 88,000 players in Nigeria .From this number, we will select the 50 best and lodge them here in Lagos with some of the most influential coaches coming here to open camp for them. The screening of these players will be held in August”, he added. Hotsportslive.com further gathered that the three best players from the invited fifty will represent Nigeria at the final world championship billed for Qatar in December where the three best from the other six African countries will gather to show their skills.
